Pakistan praises its 70th Independence Day with dedicatory functions the nation over, swearing to protect the nation against any dangers and make it a genuine Islamic welfare state as imagined by the Father of the Nation, Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah.

The day started with uncommon petitions for the advance and thriving of the nation. A 31-weapon salute in the government capital and 21-firearm salute in every common capitals.

The headliner of banner lifting service is in progress at Islamabad’s Convention Center. The service started with President Mamnoon Hussain lifting the national banner.

Head administrator Shahid Khaqan Abbasi, Chinese Vice Premier Wang Yang, Chief of Army Staff (COAS) Gen Qamar Jawed Bajwa, Chief of the Air Staff Air Chief Marshal Sohail Aman, Chief of the Naval Staff Admiral Mohammad Zakaullah, Speaker National Assembly, Chairman of the Senate, representatives and civil servants are available at the function.
